Job Opportunity – A Show Affiliation Officer

REQUIRES

A Show Affiliation Officer

To take Office from 1st October 2017

Duties include:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact to the SSA for Affiliating Shows
  • Guiding and liaising with Shows through the Affiliation process
  • (Handling Affiliation Forms, Proof Reading Schedules, Dispatching Rosettes)
  • Maintaining the required Spread Sheets
  • Liaising with designated S.S.A. Council Members as required
  • Candidates should be available to liaise and assist Shows during working hours (the busiest time is November to May)
  • have their own Computer, Printer, Full Internet Access, Basic Record Keeping skills
  • and space to be able to sort and store Rosettes

Out of pocket expenses (excluding travel) and an Honorarium will be paid

Dr Karen Milbourne Retires as Chairman of Area 12

Dr Karen Milbourne stepped down as Chairman at the Area AGM on Saturday 15th November.  Miss Emma Brown was appointed as Chairman.  The Committee and Members thanked the out-going Chairman for all her hard work since taking on the position in 2004 and wish her well for the future.
