FLATWORK CLINIC The Side Saddle Association Areas 5 & 12 “Preparation for the Equitation Season”

FLATWORK CLINIC:  Springbridge Stables, Countesthorpe Road, Willoughby Waterleys, Leicestershire LE6 6UL

The outdoor arena is 75 x 35m.  Safety hats to current safety standards must be worn by all participants whilst mounted.

Please provide a brief description on the Entry Form of your side saddle experience and that of your horse, along with the classes you are aiming to compete in during 2019.

You will be given a Warm Up time slot which will be half an hour before your side saddle lesson time.  You may work in astride or side saddle.

After your lesson you may use the designated working-in part of the school to cool your horse down in.

CLINIC FEES:
Individual lesson of 30 minutes – £25.00

Group lesson of 45 minutes, maximum two riders – £20.00 per rider

LESSON TIMES:
Please state on the entry form your preferred time, i.e. morning, mid-morning or afternoon. Whilst every effort will be made to meet these preferences, the organisers reserve the right to allocate lesson riding times at their discretion.

 TIMES:
Times will be emailed to you on Thursday 4th April.

REFRESHMENTS:
Refreshments will be available to purchase in the Clubroom that overlooks the outdoor arena.

 PLEASE NOTE:
All dogs to be on non-extending leads.

There will be no ambulance in attendance although there will be trained First Aiders on the ground.

All clinic participants and those in attendance are reminded of their individual responsibilities with regard to Health & Safety, not only to themselves but others on the ground.  This responsibility extends to safe parking of vehicles and management of horses/ponies.

No responsibility will be accepted by SSA Areas 5, 12 or Springbridge Stables for any accident howsoever it is caused.

DIRECTIONS:
Willoughby Waterleys is situated south of Leicester and east of the A426 Lutterworth/Leicester Road.

Approaching from the direction of Countesthorpe on the Countesthorpe/Willoughby Waterleys  Road, Springbridge is first on the right as you approach Willoughby Waterleys.

Approaching from Willoughby Waterleys village,  as you leave the village there are several

Smallholdings on the left, and Springbridge is the last one on the left.
